Liz Lovick will be back with us on 11 & 12 September to host a weekend dedicated to Faroese shawls with everyone producing a mini shawl and learning a lot about them, then and now. Liz's workshop last year was our most popular one so booking early would be advisable. The price for the weekend (lunches and refreshments included) will be £90 Below is a picture of a mini shawl in Albalace which Liz has done in preparation for the workshop.
Please email or phone us to book your place.

Our knitting club meets on Sunday afternoons from 2.30.We were meeting on Wednesday evenings as well but have stopped this for the summer months. However the Bennachie spinners & weavers meet in the shop on the last Wednesday of each month and would be delighted to have the knitters join them. |

March 1st 2008 was a special occasion for Barbara being 25 years to the day in 1983 when she opened her first shop in Bedfordshire. Kaffe arrived late because his flight was delayed but it was still a great day with lots and lots of people dropping in to meet him. Kaffe with Barbara on the right of the photo and Ann on the left.
